September 22, 2026 (NEW YORK) – A&M Private Wealth Partners (AMPWP) today announced the launch of the A² (“A-squared”) Lab, an analytical research function designed to bring advanced quantitative rigor to the structural decisions of multigenerational wealth planning. Working within AMPWP’s planning framework, the A² Lab conducts original research to develop proprietary decision-support methodologies, scenario models, and sensitivity analyses for clients. Its work visualizes trade-offs and helps planning, investment, tax, legal, and fiduciary professionals coordinate around a common set of facts.
Investment portfolios have benefited from decades of increasingly sophisticated optimization techniques. Yet families and their wealth advisors must also make consequential decisions about when and how much to fund planning vehicles, how to sequence entity formation and capital movement, how to maintain liquidity across interconnected instruments, and how governance choices affect future flexibility. These decisions are often evaluated in silos and with limited quantitative analysis. The A² Lab helps close that analytical gap.
The A² Lab operationalizes AMPWP’s A²MP methodology—Assess, Analyze, Map, and Position—to integrate siloed family, trust, and enterprise data into a single analytical overview that can be mapped out and acted upon. Miloš Janičić leads the Lab, which Jonathan Fitzgerald, AMPWP Co-Founder and Head of Wealth Planning, created. Matt King, Director of Wealth Planning Analytics, oversees translating Lab outputs into client roadmaps and wealth-transfer illustrations.
“We believe families make better decisions when planning, tax, investment policy, and governance are modeled together. The A² Lab is the applied engine of our methodology,” said Jonathan Fitzgerald, Co-Founder of AMPWP and Head of Wealth Planning. “It helps tie every recommendation back to a map and an operating cadence that advisors can follow.”
The Lab may use market and macro assumptions as modeling inputs in coordination with AMPWP’s investment leadership, but asset allocation is not its mandate.
“Our focus is on rigorous, explainable analysis,” said Miloš Janičić, Director of the A² Lab. “We align asset allocation with objectives, liquidity, and risk tolerance, then run tax and market scenarios that reveal valuable insights in plain language.”
The Lab can incorporate planning, compliance, reporting, tax, risk management, and other constraints and generate outputs that reflect them. The Lab can collaborate with other A&M business units, including A&M Tax, to help advise on business operations and management and align enterprise decisions with family objectives.
