Jonathan Fitzgerald directs the Wealth Planning division at A&M Private Wealth Partners, where he heads a specialized team focused on tailored wealth management and financial planning for ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, families, business owners, entrepreneurs, and foundations. His expertise includes estate and trust planning, transfer tax strategies, business succession, insurance and investment management, legacy creation, and philanthropic initiatives.
Jonathan collaborates closely with clients and their advisors to create personalized estate, trust, and financial strategies that address immediate needs and long-term goals. He is passionate about empowering his team, clients, and colleagues by guiding them through his professional planning expertise.
Before joining AMPWP, Jonathan served as the Head of Domestic Wealth Planning for North America at Citi Private Bank, overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive wealth management strategies. Prior to Citi, he was a National Director in the Emerald Family Office at Wilmington Trust, where he managed the business owner advisory practice and the estate settlement team.
Earlier in his career, Jonathan worked in a private legal practice, advising UHNW clients on estate and federal taxation planning. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in New York City, where he spent nearly four years on a financial statement audit team for Fortune 100 companies, providing analytical insights to partners and senior management to identify key risk areas.
Jonathan holds a JD from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Florida Bar, where he is active in the Tax Law and Real Property and Probate Law sections.
